In a recent interview with crypto YouTuber Tony Edwards, renowned cryptocurrency analyst Lark Davis listed his top five altcoin picks for the anticipated 2024 bull market. Davis highlighted BEAM, JOE, LINK, DOT, and ILV as his top five bullish altcoins for the upcoming year. These tokens have the potential for upward surges based on various catalytic drivers within the crypto industry.
JOE (JOE):
JOE has experienced a significant price increase in the past 30 days, benefiting from the overall bullish momentum of the crypto market. As the native token of the decentralized exchange platform Trader Joe, JOE has shown a 77.18% increase in its price over the last month and an 8.37% increase in the past seven days.
Beam (BEAM):
As the native crypto asset for the gaming network Beam network, BEAM has surged by 105.93% in the past 30 days. However, its momentum has slowed down in the last week, with a 6.87% decrease in price. Currently, BEAM is trading at $0.01862 apiece.
Chainlink (LINK):
Davis emphasized that LINK’s upward momentum will be driven by several catalysts, including the Chainlink’s CCIP upgrade, which is expected to have a significant impact on the DeFi space. Despite a marginal uptick of 2.77% in the altcoin market boom, LINK has seen substantial gains in previous months, with a 148% increase on the yearly chart.
Polkadot (DOT):
DOT has been one of the altcoins benefitting from the recent crypto market rally, with a 66.6% increase in its price in December. Currently trading at $8.66 apiece, DOT experienced a 5.10% drop in the past 24 hours.
Illuvium (ILV):
ILV is an ERC-20 token used in the Illuvium gaming ecosystem and is expected to benefit from increased activities as new games gain prominence. Currently priced at $98.24, ILV saw a 6.36% decrease in the past 24 hours.
